We are very excited about the upcoming Christmas Fair, which will be held Saturday, December 2, from 10:00am-5:00am. There are a number of interesting baskets to be auctioned off, but we still need more. So far, we know about one for Michigan, for Cambridge, for Family Game Night, for Tea, and one for Gardening Tools. Have you been thinking about what your family can put into the mix? What about a spa theme, or a yoga theme, or dinner and a movie, or tickets to a sporting event, a museum, or the theater, or the symphony? You don’t have to do this all yourself. Get together with another family and see how many ideas can go into something that will excite others. What about contributing components for a basket and we will try to figure it out?
What can you expect to see at the fair? The Knit Table, White Elephant, Gabrielle’s Jewelry Table, plus there will be other jewelry vendors whom you'll know. There will be a Christmas Table featuring Will Aldrich’s beautiful wooden 3 Crowns ornaments and other goodies. Of course, there will be the café and the bake table…and PIES! There will be other tables featuring parishioners and their wares, but you will have to come and see and be surprised!
Pie Baking will take place on Tuesday, 7 November from 9:30am-12:30pm. On Thursday, 16 November at 6:30pm there will be an additional Bake Night. Your help is needed at both events, so put this on your calendar, grab your apron and your peeler, and join in the fun.
We have openings to help during the Fair. If you can you spare a couple of hours to help, please click here and see where your help is need. Any help is most appreciated.
This should be a wonderful event; we need your participation to make it a success! Everything we raise benefits the Parish of the Epiphany, and we'll have some fun along the way.
