Join the Jericho Walk

  • June 27, 2018
  • 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Burlington

Please join us for the Jericho Walk at the Burlington ICE office, 10 New England Executive Park in Burlington Wednesday, 27 June at 3:00pm.  An  interfaith group will walk seven times around the ICE building. As Joshua did in the Hebrew story, after seven times, a rabbi will blow his shofar. We will be there to carry a message from our immigrants to the ICE officials and the people in the buildings around their office. These immigrant neighbors have a longing for freedom, respect, and justice and an end to deportations of people who have committed no crime and who are being torn apart from their families.  Recently several people from Epiphany attended such a walk and it was respectful, peaceful, and moving.

Meet at Epiphany at 2:30pm to carpool over. For more details contact Roz Nazzaro or Pam Chester.
