Communion Enrichment Class for Second Graders

All families with a child in second grade are invited to join our Communion Enrichment Program during Lent. On Sundays, 1, 8, and 15 March at 9:00am the children will have a special class where we think about what communion is, how we celebrate the Eucharist, and what it all means. While the children are working with Bryn Hollenbeck, their parents or caregivers are invited to join the Rev. Miriam Gelfer for a time of learning and discussion. If your older child (3rd grade or above) was not able to participate in Communion Enrichment when in second grade, please reach out to Bryn.

On Saturday, 21 March, we will hold our Communion Enrichment Retreat from 9:00am until noon. This drop-off retreat for the second graders is a wonderful time in which we deepen our friendships, our faith, and our knowledge of the sacrament of Communion. Families are invited to join us for lunch at noon.

Sunday, 22 March is Communion Enrichment Sunday, where we all gather at the 10:00am service of worship to celebrate the Eucharist our second graders. A reception will follow. Please reach out to Bryn with any questions.
