Last Chance to Sign Up for Golf Challenge!
Fr. Bob Davidson and Rich Bartels are organizing an early season golf challenge — are you interested in playing? The format would include 2 nines and one 18 hole round. Suggested date are:
- Saturday, April 1, 9 hole tee times (maybe at Tewksbury again)
- Friday, April 14, 18 hole tee times (maybe at Butternut Farms or some fun course you might recommend)
- Saturday, April 22, 9 hole tee times (maybe at Pine Meadows in Lexington)
Everyone can play any or all of the matches. Feel free to bring along a non-Epiphany friend! The format could be best ball or Captain’s choice depending on what your foursome would like.
If you’re interested, please contact Rich Bartels by this Sunday, February 19 indicating which date(s) you want to play. If you have one, please include your handicap to help form foursomes.

This Lent, as a parish together, we will be reading Tattoos on the Heart by Father Gregory Boyle. Fr. Gregory Boyle is a Jesuit priest and founder of Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles, the largest gang-intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry program in the world. This book is about solidarity with our neighbors, compassion, and ultimately about God’s love. Sojourners said this about the book: “Reading this book is a spiritually cleansing experience that won’t leave you the same.”
The deadline to sign up to participate is this Sunday, February 19. The study begins the week of February 26 and runs for five weeks. We will be gathering in small groups as we journey through the book together. We have a number of offerings at different times throughout the week in various locations, with some groups meeting at Epiphany, some in homes, and potentially an online option. We are hoping that this book and the discussions that come out of it will help guide us through Lent and further into the future as we learn to better embody Christ's love in our time. Forum Hour: The Book of Ruth: A Family Story
The
Book of Ruth is the story of a family. But when family stories are examined closely,
they can be surprising — even unsettling. During our final session this Sunday, February 19 at 11:30 am, we will take a close look at the Book of Ruth, and see what
surprising things it may have to tell us about God, our ancestors in faith, and
ourselves.

Let’s care for our unhoused neighbors! Leave donations in the back of the church in the shopping cart in the Nave until March 5. Rev. Janelle is also gathering a group (18 and older) to be trained to volunteer at the center. If interested, please email her. You can learn more about the Malden Warming Center here.
