Continuing Gratitude and an Invitation to an Ordination
My beloved friends of Epiphany,
Dave (McSweeney) and I fell in love with Epiphany in 2012 and joined both the parish and The Episcopal Church a year later. Neither of us had any idea how God would use these two decisions to launch us into deeper waters. My journey towards the priesthood began in my youth but was ripened here, at Epiphany, with so many of you, dear friends.
In the spring of 2017, Jo Devlin, Mike Coltman, David Greeley, Sandra LaPerche, and Sarah Wasdyke were the Discernment Committee who recommended to the vestry that I be sponsored by Epiphany in the process from inquirer to postulant to candidate and, now, to ordinand. I am profoundly grateful.
I am genuinely humbled to invite you to “attend” online my ordination into the Sacred Order of Deacons on Saturday, June 5 at 10:30am. The service will be live-streamed from the Cathedral Church of St. Paul website at www.stpaulboston.org. Reverend Nick will be representing all of you, but I also assure you that each one of you will be in my very full heart, with great thanksgiving. In faith, Brett

Save the Date!
Our own Brett Johnson will be ordained a Transitional Deacon on Saturday, June 5 at St. Paul’s Cathedral. We will be with Brett in spirit, as attendance is extremely limited, and our prayers will we welcome. On Sunday, however, we will celebrate on Zoom with Brett and his family! Please save the time: Sunday, June 6 at 7pm. Link and other details to follow.
If you would care to contribute to a gift from the Parish of the Epiphany to Brett to mark this holy occasion, contributions can be made online at https://3crowns.org/giving-acs or by check to the parish office. Please mark your check with Brett’s name in the memo line; there is a similar memo field available on the online form. Questions? Contact janewhite54@msn.com.

Through Anna's Fund, the Winchester Farmers Market matches SNAP benefits up to $15 per customer card, per market day. With your donations, you can help us increase the number of customers served and the amount of our match. To donate by credit card or PayPal, please click here. Epiphany Views from the Pews
To share our excitement about reuniting again in person we have initiated a brief “views from the pews” videoseries inviting parishioners to share their favorite place to sit in the pews, what they may have missed while being away from Epiphany over the past 14 months, and why they’re excited or looking forward to returning to church in person. These very brief videos (a minute or less) will then be shared on our website and in social media to give people (especially newcomers) a snapshot of who we are as a parish community.
If you would like to join this project, Kathryn Dominguez will be recording videos of parishioners, individually or in pairs, sitting in the pews on weekdays between 9am and 2pm except for Tuesday mornings when there are staff meetings. Just stop by the church office, email office@3crowns.org or call 781-729-1922 to find a time to meet. You can also record a message from home and email it to her if easier. We look forward to collecting many of these short videos over the course of the next few months!
