    Dear Families,

Last Sunday was a beautiful day for our congregation as we celebrated Communion Enrichment, Confirmation, and Baptisms. After the service, several people said to me that church felt like it used to feel. I agree! What a blessing!

As we head toward the end of Lent, we hope you are finding moments to focus your hearts and minds on the love the God, the gift of Jesus Christ, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

    Peace,

    Bryn

Church School this Sunday: 9am Zoom and 10am In-Person

This week we reach Chapter 5 in our Lenten workbooks: the Parable of the Workers and the Vineyard. Jesus used parables to teach us about God--God's character and God's kingdom--and this parable in particular really makes us think about God's great grace.

      Zoom Families

If you would like to join from home, please hop on Zoom at 9am this Sunday morning. Have your new Church School bag, your red Lent zine, and some crayons or colored pencils ready.  ZOOM LINK

      In-Person Families

For those coming to the church, please join us at 10am in Upper Parish Hall. We'll have our story, some painting, and some movement this week! Please bring a mask; we will require masks when in especially close proximity, but start to allow unmasking at other times. Please discuss with your child what your own family's masking (or unmasking) rules are ahead of time.

      Faith-at-Home Families

Faith-at-Home families who like to work on these materials as a family on your own schedule, HERE is this week's outline. We're in our red Lent Zine, and we're on Chapter 5 which is called "The Vineyard."

Everybody should find their fifth envelope (marked April 3). There's a craft to share with your family, and a TREAT (as promised!).

Lenten Sunday Series on Grief and Grace: Healing Together

Join Rev. Nick and Dr. Brian Litzenberger in Hadley Hall each Sunday during the season of Lent after the 10:00 am service for a forum series that will help us explore the many feelings of grief and loss and disorientation that we've experienced through the pandemic. Nick and Brian will host conversations to engage both the theology and practice of moving from trauma to healing. These sessions are open to all ages, as Dr. Litzenberger is particularly engaged with parents, youth and young people in his practice.

Easter Project for St. Luke's a Big Success: Thank You!

Huge thank you to all who donated Easter candy for our children's Midweek service project. We made 50 decorated Easter bags full of delicious candy, which will be given to families at St. Luke's before Easter.

And thank you to all the children who participated in decorating and filling the bags. It was hard work to not eat up those piles of delicious candy, but our friends focused on giving and serving our neighbors. Well done friends!

Thank you to Betsy Walsh for joining us and leading our learning about food insecurity, food pantries, and sharing.

      Midweek@Epiphany Spring Schedule

Midweek@Epiphany is a relaxed evening of fellowship, food, and formation (learning about God and faith) that happens roughly twice a month in the middle of the school & work week.

We begin at 6:15 with a delicious dinner (cooked by our Midweek Dinner Team) and time to socialize. At 7pm, adults and youth are invited to a Bible study with Rev Nick in Upper Parish Hall, and children are invited to a time of faith-centered art and music with Bryn, Jeremy, and ministry volunteers in Hadley Hall.

      The next Midweek@Epiphany dates are:

      • Wednesday, April 17
      • Wednesday, May 18
      • Wednesday, June 1

      All are welcome!
