Church School:

MLK Weekend Chapel & Service Project

Church School resumes on January 14, which is Martin Luther King Jr Weekend. Due to the holiday, we will have one all-age class in the chapel during the 10am service. Children will start the service in the sanctuary and join the procession with their teachers to the chapel. We will do a special Godly Play story on Martin Luther King and then do a service project together.

Regular classes (preschool-1st grade in Upper Parish Hall and 2-5th grade in the Chapel) will resume on January 21. All classes will begin in the sanctuary.

Midweek: Dinner and Learning for All Ages

Wednesday, January 17 6:15-7:30pm

Please join us for Midweek, an intergenerational evening with a homecooked meal, time to hang out, and faith-centered learning.

This Wednesday after dinner the grown-ups will have a Bible study with Rev Nick in Upper Parish Hall; the teens will have time together with Janelle; and the children can join Bryn and Jeremy for art and music.

Communion Enrichment Classes:
January 20 & 21

We will hold Communion Enrichment for children in grades 2-5 and their caregivers on Saturday, January 20 from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the church. The Communion Enrichment class is designed to help children better understand the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. These children will participate in the 10:00 am service of worship on January 21. Moms of Young'uns Gathering:

January 29, 7:30pm

Moms of children in elementary school (ish) and younger are invited to join a new discussion, support, and comic-relief group. We'll get together in person every six weeks or so to talk about a selected topic (pre-reading/listening/viewing will be available but optional) and check-in. We'll support each other between meetings via a WhatsApp group (also optional).

Our next meeting is on January 29 at 7:30 pm at the Rectory (29 Lakeview Rd, Winchester).
