Summer Children's Message

This summer our community is sharing special children's messages via YouTube. We have friends sharing music, stories, experiments, and more! Some faces will be very familiar from chapel or Sunday School, and some will be new friends. We hope you enjoy getting to know our community in new ways.

Suzanne Owayda, one of our wonderful and faithful wardens, leads our children's message this week. Come see Suzanne's mosaic art studio, learn about the history of this type of art (hint: it has to do with the church!), and join Suzanne in the paper mosaic craft she teaches us!

Children's Message on YouTube with Suzanne

For a fuller tour of Suzanne's Mosaic Oasis art studio, including beautiful examples of pieces by Suzanne and others, and a more complete look at the steps of this wonderful art form, please see our longer "Director's cut" version.

Children's Message with Suzanne: Full Edition

Would you or your family like to make a summer children's video? We'd love to have you join our team! Email Bryn for details.

Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit Week Four: Peace

Verse to learn:

Philippians 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Color the Words of this Verse Here

Talk about it:

What does peace mean? Are there things you are worried about--things that make it hard for to you feel peace? What are some things you can try to do so you can feel God’s peace? How can you share God's peace with others?

Great Story Books:

  • Wemberly Worries, by Henkes
  • Do No Fear, God is Near, by the Berenstains

Great Books for Older Kids:

  • Guts, by Telgemeier

B-SAFE this Summer: Can You Help?

This summer St. Stephen's Youth Programs will run a modified B-SAFE program. Epiphany still has an important role in supporting this vital program. Please sign up to help provide lunches, groceries, and more for the students and families that take part in B-SAFE. This summer our support is more important than ever!
