Some faces will be very familiar from chapel or Sunday School, and some will be new friends. Would you or your family like to make a summer children's video? We'd love to have you join our team! It is fun, and we will help! Email Bryn for details.

Youth: An Invitation to Holy Conversation This Summer: Reading White Fragility
On June 8, about twenty-five parishioners and staff gathered online to begin a conversation about systemic racism and white privilege. The Rev. Thea Keith-Lucas facilitated this gathering, which included scripture reflection in small groups and exploring some examples of white privilege.
As a next step, everyone in grade 8 and older is invited to read Robin DiAngelo’s book White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism. There will be opportunities for all of us to gather online several times throughout the summer to discuss the book and share what we’re learning. You are invited to join at any point in the series, and to attend as many sessions are you are able. We ask all youth who attend to do so with a parent or guardian, on a shared Zoom screen. This allows us to follow Safe Church online policies for those 18 years of age and younger.
The gatherings will be held on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We begin this Monday, July 6, with chapters one and two. Learn more here
