Choirs“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing." Psalm 100:1-2 We offer our music as a way to praise God. And at the same time, it is often in our music that we draw closer to God and hear God. Music can speak to our souls and nourish our spirits. Our deep tradition of musical excellence draws us in and sends us out renewed and refreshed. Parish ChoirThe Parish
Choir is comprised of highly committed volunteer singers, supported by
professional section leaders. This group sings the Sunday 10am service of Holy
Eucharist year-round, in addition to services of Choral Evensong, weddings and
funerals, Lessons & Carols, and other feasts and fasts during the season.
They sing music drawn from many periods in history and honoring current-day
composers, with an emphasis on music from the Anglican choral tradition. The
Parish Choir maintains weekly rehearsals throughout the season (September through
May) and is happy to welcome new members at any time. For more information, please
contact Jeremy Bruns at jbruns@3crowns.org. ChoristersThe 2024-25 Chorister program at Epiphany is for children with unchanged voices in grades 3-8. This program provides professional musical training to children in a challenging and fun environment at no financial cost to parents. Previous musical experience isn’t necessary for admission. This choir rehearses weekly on Wednesdays during the school year and sings in church at the 10:00 am worship service on the first Sunday of each month (October through June) and at other scheduled services and events during the year. Less intensive preparatory training for interested 2nd graders will also be made available during the 2024-25 season. For more information or to arrange a brief vocal evaluation for your child, please reach out to Director of Music Jeremy Bruns at jbruns@3crowns.org or by phoning the church office at 781-729-1922. |
