Our MissionThe Parish of the Epiphany is a welcoming Episcopal community that seeks to be a safe place for all. As an Episcopal Church, we are grounded in our Baptismal Covenant commitments to "respect the dignity of every human being" and "strive for justice and peace among all people" as we "seek and serve Christ in all people." We live the good news of God in Christ together by growing in faith, hope, and love and by embracing all and denouncing oppression in all forms. Our life is shaped by the gospel-commitment of justice, and realized through our work to confront racism and white supremacy, the celebration and embrace of LGBTQ+ people, and our advocacy for immigration reform, economic justice, creation care and environmental justice. By word and example we proclaim the good news of God in Christ. May God’s compassion, wisdom and love bless us all as we continue our work together to ensure that the church is truly a sanctuary, and that the household of God is formed in God’s image and likeness as followers of Christ. |
