In the Episcopal Church, confirmation and reception are a public affirmation of your faith and your baptismal vows. Confirmation classes will be offered from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm on Sundays, March 2, March 16, March 30, April 6, and April 27. Confirmation will be held on Sunday, May 4 at 4:30 pm (alternate date: Saturday, June 21 at 10:30 am).
Being received means that The Episcopal Church honors your baptism and confirmation from a different tradition (ex: Catholic or Methodist), and there is a special liturgy, as reception is a public way of being welcomed into The Episcopal Church and renewing your Baptismal Covenant. If you are coming from a different tradition or grew up in the Episcopal Church and are in at least tenth grade, you are invited to consider this step in your faith journey! Interested? Contact Rev.
