March 06, 2025 1:00 PM | Anonymous member (Administrator)

Rhythms of Grace participantsOn Saturday, March 29 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, all are invited for a special workshop with our guest preacher, Rev. Lindsay Lunnum. Rev. Lunnum joins us as we, a community of faith, work to welcome and understand the needs of all. This workshop will introduce the ministry of Rhythms of Grace, a curriculum which focuses on worship and faith formation for people with autism and neurodivergence. We will discuss the unique gifts and challenges that people with autism bring to our communities, explore theological ideas around disability, and offer some practical ways that parishes can share the knowledge and love of God with neuro-diverse people. This workshop is open to all, including clergy, lay leaders, congregants, those in other faith homes, and those in our greater communities. Registration is requested.

The Rev. Lindsay Lunnum is a neurotypical parent of a teenager who is deeply impacted by autism. She is also a priest and the rector of Zion Episcopal Church in Douglaston (Queens, NYC). Lindsay is the spokesperson for Rhythms of Grace, a ministry of worship and faith formation for children and families with autism. She has introduced ROG in two parishes that she has served and has consulted and guided several parishes throughout the Church to develop this ministry.

This workshop is made possible by funding from the Diocese of MA's Congregational Development Grants, and the Parish of the Epiphany's Lighthouse Ministry. Contact office@3crowns.org with questions.
