Congratulations to Ilario Faienza and Liam Cumming, who performed on Tuesday, June 25 at King’s Chapel in Boston as scholarship winners of the Young Organist Initiative hosted by the Boston Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Mark your calendars now for June 24, 2025 at 12:15 pm, when the 2024-25 scholarship winners will perform at King’s Chapel. These seven winners include Ilario Faienza as a second-year scholarship recipient, and Katherine Cumming as a new recipient.

Starting this July, Winchester Community Access & Media (WinCAM) will begin streaming Parish of the Epiphany’s services on their local television network. Viewers can tune in on Mondays at 2 pm via Comcast channel 8 or Verizon channel 36. Services will also be available in HD on Mondays at 4 pm via Comcast channel 1073 or Verizon channel 2136. WinCAM will begin with older services and work towards catching up with our current streams. 

This summer, join Journey to Justice (J2J) as we read Poverty, by America by Matthew Desmond. This powerful book challenges the way we understand poverty in the United States and offers some ways to work towards a more just and equitable society. Every Sunday through Labor Day weekend, the Summer Choir will assist in leading the music at our 10:00 am services, and we would like to invite anyone interested to join in. No commitment needed — simply be in the choir loft at 9:00 am on any Sunday you choose, and we will prepare the music for that day. Make it a family event if you like; anyone entering second grade or older is invited to sing. The summer choir will not vest or process. This is your chance to give choir a try in a more relaxed setting! We hope to see some new faces and hear some new voices over the summer. As we approach the end of our program year, we want to gather and give thanks for the life we've shared here in this place. There are few better ways to celebrate together than to share a meal. Breaking bread together binds us together and reminds us of the joy and laughter and nourishment that we share here at Epiphany.

On Sunday, June 2 at 11:15 am, all are invited to our Celebration Potluck as we close our program year together. We will gather in Hadley Hall and share in a festive meal and nourishing fellowship. A simple main dish will be provided. We ask that you bring a side or dessert to share. Simply drop it off in Hadley Hall before the 10:00 am service; you'll find tables marked as to where to place your item. We invite you to bring:

It’s spring again and of course that means that your pedal-pounding fellow parishioners are at it again. Team Epiphany will once again mount our bicycles and ride in the Tri-State Trek to combat ALS. For quite a few years now, you have supported us as we have pedals across England to raise money for the ALS Therapy Development Institute. ALS-TDI has been a leader in research for discovering effective treatments to ed ALS for many years. Such discoveries take a long time, and ALS-TDI has launched the ALS Research Collaborative, which acts as a clearing house for gathered data from people with ALS and sharing them with researchers. They are also the only non-profit biotech to bring a potential treatment, togoprubart, to a clinical trial.

The Team will once again be traveling to New Hampshire again this June 22-23 after last year’s format change. We’ll be attempting various distances, from 30 to 200 miles over one or two days, looping through Maine and Massachusetts around Durham, NH.

And so, once again, we ask for your support:

2. You could join the team. No, I’m not kidding, and it’s not too late. There are many ways to participate, both in person and virtually. 3. Pray for us. We will be training heavily between now and then. We’d especially like your prayers for the safety of all riders and volunteers on the weekend of June 22-23.

ALS has hit this parish hard over the years, and we ride in honor of our fallen friends, Steve Lewis and Rick Marks. Yet, we know there are lots of pressing needs in the world so we thank you in advance for considering supporting us.

Our all-parish, intergenerational retreat weekend at the Barbara C. Harris Camp & Conference Center in Greenfield, NH will be the weekend of September 27-29, 2024. Immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of creation, and the community and welcome of our Annual All-Parish Weekend Away. All are invited to Holy Week and Easter worship at Parish of the Epiphany!

On Sunday, March 24, we will mark Palm Sunday at 8:00 am with the Blessing of the Palms and Rite I Holy Eucharist and at 10:00 am with our Palm Sunday Procession and Rite II Holy Eucharist. The latter service will also be available via livestream on Epiphany's YouTube channel. In between the services at 9:00 am, all are invited to our annual hot cross buns reception in Hadley Hall, with fellowship, hot cross buns, and activities for children. This year's Palm Sunday services will not offer a Passion Narrative, as we utilize diocesan resources for an alternative Palm Sunday liturgy.

On March 28 at 6:15 pm, all are welcome for our annual Maundy Thursday Agape Meal. We will begin in Hadley Hall with a community meal and Holy Eucharist and then move to the Sanctuary for foot washing and the stripping of the altar. Please click here if you are interested in being a table host and helping to welcome and facilitate the dinner portion of the evening. 

On March 29, Epiphany will offer three Good Friday services: a simple service at 7:30 am in the Chapel, as well as noon and 7:00 pm worship with music in the Sanctuary. The evening service will also be available via livestream on Epiphany's YouTube channel. 

On March 30, we invite you to a simple Holy Saturday service at 9:00 am in the Sanctuary, followed by altar and flower preparations for Easter celebrations. All are welcome to attend and help in these preparations. At 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary, join us for the Great Vigil of Easter, with the lighting of the Paschal candle, lessons, renewal of baptismal vows, and Holy Eucharist. The Vigil will also be available via livestream on Epiphany's YouTube channel. 

Celebrate the Day of Resurrection with Parish of the Epiphany! On March 31, we will offer Easter Sunday Festival Eucharists at 9:00 am and 11:15 am. The 9:00 am service will also be available via livestream on Epiphany's YouTube channel. In between the services at 10:00 am, all are welcome for a festive reception in Hadley Hall, with a children’s Easter egg hunt outdoors at 10:30 am.
